WITH ROOTS & WINGS (2007)

With music rooted in country, bluegrass and gospel, the three women in Angel Band spread their vocal wings and soar on Lloyd Maine's produced, With Roots & Wings, their first CD for Appleseed after two self-released recordings. Featuring Angel Band's lineup, Kathleen Weber, Jen Schonwald and Nancy Josephson, this CD incorporates nearly all original songs penned by band members. The fabulous foundation is provided by back up musicians David Bromberg, Bobby Tangrea, Bob Taylor and Nate Grower and ably augmented by Lloyd Maines, Johnny Lippincott, Richard Crooks, Bukka Allen and Marc Moss.

BEAUTIFUL NOISE (2006)

2006 recording featuring Adrien Reju, Jen Schonwald and Nancy Josephson. This CD is Angel Band’s interpretation of classic (and destined to be classic) tunes penned by some of the best. The able bodied back up musicians (David Bromberg, Bobby Tangrea, Bob Taylor and Jeff Wisor) supply the terrific all acoustic foundation for the three singers. Produced by Nancy and Marc Moss.
